Baddeck is one of the worlds scenic gems. Also, it has world class golf at Bell Bay Golf course and sailing at your door step.
This charming summer home is located in the picturesque village of Baddeck(population approx. 900). Baddeck overlooks the Bras D'or Lakes which is North America's largest inland body of salt water. Baddeck was the home of the great inventor Alexander Graham Bell and his mansion still stands nearby.
This central location is ideal to take day trips and explore Cape Breton Island. Or enjoy the attractions in the village during the day or night.
This summer home has two storey's with a living room, dining area, kitchen, bath and four bedrooms. The porch on the front is ideal for relaxing. You can enjoy the laid back atmosphere of the village.
You will be walking distance to the many attractions that the town has to offer, such as the shops, fine restaurants and cafes. Or let the ocean breeze revitalize your soul and take a walk along the boardwalk and marina. Enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets. If you feel like a soothing dip in the salt water then there is a 10 min boat trip (operates throughout the day) to a supervised beach on an island in the Baddeck Bay.
In the evening enjoy a variety of traditional Cape Breton fiddle music (every night) at the Baddeck ceilidgh's (gaelic word for gathering of people). Also, there is fine dining, good pubs and local theater. |
