Come downtown and enjoy an oasis in the city. Rural Ontario just 85 miles to Toronto airport/downtown. Great amenities in the rooms, healthy house, central downtown location.
Rooms are private, keyed and have ensuite bathrooms. AVEDA toiletries, terry robes, slippers, hair dryers. Rooms have cable TV, vcr/dvd, radio alarm clock, telephone and free highspeed wireless internet. All the details have been considered and everything is in the room that might be needed.
Healthy house. Heated with gas furnace with hot water rads, central air conditioning, Casablance ceiling fans, windows that open, original windows, doors, walls, floors and trim, restored and refurbished. Clean house, central vacuum system by Vacuflo (recommended by American Medical Association for people with allergies). Shaded courtyard garden is a healthy restorative place, with patios for breakfast, relaxing and with a firepit.

| "First thing I noticed about downtown Peterborough is that there is no wind. This from a Saskatchewan farm girl. Then I was taken with all the brick houses, large and small, detached and semi-detached. Then I grew to love the wide variety of trees, all the rocks and lakes and waterway. Finally the people, with the Irish heritage, the multicultural mix, the variety of profession from professor to banker to industrialist to farmer, all good neighbours with their kids playing hockey, going to school together. Close to Toronto, not far to Ottawa, easy access to wilderness and the North, not too urban, not too rural, with great education, health and social services. Located in downtown Peterborough with parking in the driveway. Rates are $129 for two in regular rooms or $299 for two in Spa Suite with private entrance, private garden hot tub, sauna, steam room and quiet (its in the basement with 10 foot ceilings, hardwood floors and privacy!). Wireless internet access is included. Breakfast is included and it is your menu, served when you want it, up to 10am. Complimentary coffee/tea bar in the rooms.
Children and pets are welcome @ $25/n
Meeting space with bathroom is complimentary, catered refreshments and meals by request.
Tax is HST (13%). Monthly rates available at Waterford House where there are two private furnished and equipped suites @ $2500/month, all inclusive except tax, and with maid service once/week. |
