Solid pine floors, walls and ceilings on the main and loft levels; 22' vaulted ceiling in great room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay; two floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces; woodstove in master bedroom; 148' water frontage with gentle sloping rock shoreline; 5 bedrooms with queen size beds; 3 full washrooms, one with whirlpool tub; wood deck off kitchen for barbecuing; 12'x24' wood deck off great room facing the bay; 12'x24' stone patio off recreation room facing the bay. Over 6 km of groomed trails on 400 acres of adjacent subescarpment property; 2 quality public golf courses within 15 minutes; many natural sights nearby including: caves, cliffs, waterfalls, beaches; and close to the Bruce Trail.
Summer activities include:

Winter activities include:
Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing on our trails; several ski resorts less than an hours' drive away; access to OFSA trails near our groomed trails.

Booking deposit of $500 per week required. We accept Visa or MasterCard for your booking deposit. The booking deposit becomes your security/damage deposit upon arrival. Any booking deposit in excess of $500 (ie. multiple-week bookings), the balance is applied and deducted from the final installment payment. The security/damage deposit is returned to you following inspection after departure.
1/3 total rental is due at 90 days prior to rental; balance at 60 days. We do not accept credit cards; we do accept personal/business cheques, money order, bank draft or email transfers.

Renters may cancel the contract up to 90 days prior to the date of rental with a full refund of all payments except booking deposit.
Cancelling less than 90 days prior to the date of rental:
Loss of security deposit, plus:
90-60 days prior to date loss of 50% of total rental cost
60-30 days prior to date loss of 75% of total rental cost
30 days or less prior to date loss of 100% of total rental cost
Should you find another rental party to fulfill your contract, all monies are refunded with the exception of a $250 processing fee and the booking deposit. |
Refrain from smoking anywhere within the rental retreat. Receptacles are provided outdoors for guest use.
Any pets must be on leash when outdoors (local bylaw and pet's safety)
Arrival Fridays 5pm or later; departures before 11am following Friday. Failure to departure by 11am will result in am hourly surcharge deducted from your deposit. |
ALL PRICING IS BASED ON FOUR PERSONS; Additional persons extra per person ($125 high; $95 mid; $85 low)

Rental property and facilities as described (click "facilities" at bottom of our main website page) all bedding, linen, towels; beach towels and terry bathrobes; split, dry firewood for fireplaces, woodstove and campfires; use of canoe (6 standard lifevests supplied); access to neighbouring harbour to dock your boat; access to neighbouring 400 acres of land and 6km of groomed trails for hiking, snowmobiling... a welcome basket of various snacks and our own private label "Greystone Retreat --Special Reserve" wine. Spa on adjacent property offering: heated stone massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, Thay body treatments by appointment. Appointments may be booked ahead or, if available, during your stay.
Rates do NOT include:
You are responsible for bringing, cooking and cleaning up all of your own meals, snacks, beverages; our water is from Georgian Bay, is tested and potable; if you are uncomfortable, bring your own; laundry soap and other laundry supplies; any items of a personal nature such as: shampoo, soap, razors, toothpaste, etc.; swimsuits, water shoes and extra beach towels. Any rooms and doors locked on the property are considered to be out-of-bounds.
