Villa Furiosi is a monastic complex dating from the XVI century, converted into a villa and farm buildings in 1800 by the family of the current owner. It is composed by three apartments. Totally 10 persons.
Villa Furiosi is a charming residence where you can spend peaceful, restful days in the magical landscape of the upper Arno Valley, described by Tito Livio and Leonardo da Vinci.
The villa's annex, called the Castelletto, was converted to a tourist residence through skillful restoration aimed at retaining the architectura1 elements of the period such as vaulted brick ceilings and floors in Florentine brickwork.
Villa Furiosi lies in the medieval hamlet of Montemarciano (300 m. above sea level), on the verdant slopes of the upper Amo Valley just below the splendid mountain scenery of Pratomagno (alt. 1600 m.) in the very heart of Tuscany.
The furnishings, carefully selected by the proprietor, consist of original pieces from the 18th and 19th centuries.
A two-story building, the Castelletto has five bedrooms -two with double beds and three with two twin beds, totaling sleeping accommodations for ten - three bathrooms with showers and three separate kitchens, in addition to a panoramic 40 m2 terrace
Overlooking the Amo Va1ley from which you can enjoy enchanting sunsets in the silence of the countryside while sipping an excellent Chianti.
The Castelletto can also be rented as two apartments sleeping four and one sleeping two, all with independent entrances and heating; bath, kitchen and satellite TV.
The ground floor opens on to a spacious, wholly enclosed garden, at one end of which is a round, 45-m2 pool with heated shower, changing room and WC. A private parking area has room for four vehicles.

The small castle of Villa Furiosi consists of three apartments. Two can accommodate 4 people and one is designed for 2 people.
Each apartment has a separate entrance, individually controlled central heating.

The Archi (The Arches) apartment provides room for four people.
At ground floor, the apartment gives onto a garden reached via a stone paved patio equipped with garden furniture for eating and relaxing outside.
Casa Giulia
Casa Giulia (Giulia's house) apartment provides room for four people.
At first floor, the apartment gives onto a terrace of over 40 square metres, with splendid views of the valley, where you can eat in the open air and enjoy the beautiful panorama over a bottle of good Chianti.
Casa Rosa

This area is rich in testimonials to the past like important Romanesque parish churches and medieval towns.
The upper Amo Valley can boast of ancient farming and wine-growing traditions and here you can taste typical Tuscan cuisine and enjoy excellent local products such as Chianti dei Colli Aretini DOCG wine and premium olive oil, purchasable directly from their producers.
