Akumal is a quiet and restful village located an easy 1 hour drive from Cancun. The Mayan city of Tulum is 20 minutes away and ferry to Cozumel is a 30 minute drive.
This is a fully furnished deluxe 2 bedroom condominium located on the beach at beautiful half-moon Bay. There is a 1 bedroom unit directly adjacent which can be rented in tandem for 3 bed/2-bath arrangement. Both units are located on the 2nd floor of Hacienda de la Tortuga, which are about 15 feet apart, (add rates for the 2 & 1 bedorom together for rate on 3 bedroom. CD player and books are provided as well as phone service (credit card required). There is daily maid service, a restaurant directly downstairs that will provide room service if requested and a pool. Half-Moon Bay was one of the favorite snorkeling spots of Jacques Cousteau. A dozen local restaurants provide a variety of good food.
*Local activities include snorkeling, diving, cenote exploring, sailing, shopping and cave diving or snorkeling.
