Casa Palmas is a four storey home. It sleeps up to 10 people. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, 2 dining rooms and 2 living rooms with 2 sleep-sofas. This home can also be rented as two separate apartments totally shut off from each other and totally private with two separate entrances. The first level can be rented as a one bedroom with bath, full kitchen, dining room, living room with sleep sofa. It sleeps up to 4. On this level there is a door that shuts off this level from the other levels. The other levels can be rented as a second apartment. It has its own entrance in the back of the house. This second apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, full kitchen, dining room and living room with sleep sofa. It can sleep up to 6 people. Come and enjoy the warmth and the charm of Casa Palmas de Baja Mar. Casa Palmas-What can I say... From the point of view of a 23 year
old "honeeeemooooners" as we we called down in Playa Del Carmen, it was
paradise. The house situation about 250m from the beach is a beautiful open
concept home with lots of natural light. We rented the top 2 floors and the
rooftop. On your first day expect to feel a little overwhelmed by the size
and beauty of the house. Carlos (your amigo) will take you up on the roof
where you can get general overview of where you are in relation to the
"village" and the "playa" (beach). The maid service was exceptional and a
very nice relief. Air conditioning is a nice addition to have especially
after a long day at the beach. We spent a few nights a home cooked up a
little dinner and watched some Satellite TV The street are safe to walk in
at night to get in and out of town or you can walk down the beach. We found
it nice to walk along the beach-front walkway of the neighboring Plaza
Continental. There is much to do... many restaurants. One of my favorites was
Media Luna. Senor Froggs is good for a mid day drink or snack... or a 24h
beach party.(from the sounds of it) If you want to go to Cozumel schedule a
snorkeling tour which will give you something to do during the day and leave
your the afternoon and evening to check out Cozumel... Definately go to
XCHRET... we got to swim with Dolphins,visit a butterfly sanctuary... it's
just beautiful. TRES RIOS is also a nice place to go if you're into the out
doors. Horseback riding, Canoeing, Powerboating, Snorkeling...(get the all
inclusive package) 55$US I could go on and on... but I won't! Pauline's
home is truly comforting and relaxing and a perfect distance from everything
you need... Definately book the two top floors... you will now regret it!

This is an amazing house and city. My husband and I rented the upstairs quarters for a week and could have stayed a month. We both decided that we will never vacation in a hotel room again! The view from the top is spectacular. You are one block from the beach. We had maid service every day. There is satellite television with approximately 6 movie channels. I cannot wait to go back. This house and the city provided what I would deem as a TRUE vacation.

My words could not due the place justice. It's a shame that the scale only goes up to 10, because this place is off the chart in every category. My wife & I have been down many times & have now found our favorite spot to stay. Luxurious convenience that is a bargain. We stayed for 2 weeks (with 5 others) and could easily get lost in this huge home. Beautifully decorated, and much more than we expected from the description on this site. Get your reservation in early or we might just book the whole year:) We walked to meals, shopping, beach, dancing, etc... The owner - Pauline, was a joy & she has a friend (Carlos) near the home that can handle any details. Drop me a line & I can elaborate.

WOW!! I completely agree with the other reviews posted here... You can't beat this as a vacation spot or find a better person to rent from! Pauline was in constant contact with us from start to finish and her home is absolutely gorgeous as is the neighborhood it sits in. I can definitely recommend the upper stories (where we stayed) - The balconies are superb! We spent a lot of time in the hammock on the top floor just enjoying the breeze and the view! (Even in August the weather was beautiful thanks |
