A stunning 2 bedroom private villa rental on the Mayan Riviera, close to Playa del Carmen & Puerto Morelos in Mexico. Located in Playa del Secreto, a quiet neighbourhood of exclusive homes and B&B's with none of the big resort hotels, crowds or highways.
Just 20 minutes from the Cancun airport our 2 bedroom villa will accommodate your perfect vacation in paradise.
Casa Oceano is a place to have your meals on your time, get dedicated lounges around the pool and beach, see incredible wildlife and watch spectacular sunrises with your morning coffee and sunsets to your beverage of choice. Our private beach area will never be crowed nor will our 5km beach as there are only a handful of exclusive homes for you to view while you walk the beach and collect shells.
Our villa has been tastefully decorated. Having most our furniture handmade by local craftsmen as well as state of the art appliances gives our villa that unique Mexican appeal while keeping all the comforts of home. We also try to accommodate your flight times so that you aren't left waiting for a room on your first day or being kicked out early on your final day. We want you to enjoy every minute of your vacation at Casa Oceano.
Our 1,600 sqft. villa will accommodate your every whim. Each of the 2 bedrooms boast king sized beds, huge en-suites and walk-outs to a balcony that overlook both the ocean and jungle with hammocks. Lie in bed and listen to the surf pound and the tropical birds sing. A third full bathroom is located on the main floor where a queen sized pull-out couch can sleep additional guests.
You will never run out of things to do around the villa with over 140 movies to watch on our 25" TV, games and a gourmet kitchen equipped to have casual meals or elegant dinners.
The center piece of the villa is the 800 sqft. roof top terrace. You get a 360-degree view of both jungle and ocean -- a view that is hard to duplicate.
Imagine having your morning coffee to the sunrises and a glass of wine to the sunsets. The surf will pound up to your terrace giving you a feeling of peace and tranquility. If you get lucky you'll spot one of the many flocks of tropical birds flying into the jungle.
Our complex sits 80 meters from the beach and is named Sandy’s Villas after the builders’ cat. Our unit is affectionately called Casa Oceano and was built in 2001 and has all the newest amenities including internet access and cell phones. We found Casa Oceano on a vacation to the Mayan Riviera, we fell in love with it and bought it in January of 2002.
Playa del Secreto is a quiet neighborhood with charming homes and bed and breakfasts. You are far away from the city lights, big hotels and busy highways. During the day the complex is filled with the sound of the surf pounding and the tropical birds singing. At night the crickets are heard over the sound of the surf and the stars are magnificent. It is obvious why Playa del Secreto really is a secret!
You can go out to Puerto Morelos for dinner or you can order in from several of the restaurants there that deliver to our area. If fish or lobster is your desire, you can always go to the local fisherman wharf in Puerto Morelos and buy the catch of the day and come home and BBQ it. Playa del Carmen and Cancun have literally hundreds of restaurant and shops for you to eat or browse in.
Situated just 5 minutes from Puerto Morelos, 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen and 25 minutes from Cancun, Playa del Secreto is the ideal spot to discover the Mayan Riviera. May 2003 Hi Karen. Just got back from your lovely Mexican Villa. We had a great time doing everything including relaxing on your secluded beach, dining & dancing in both Playa Del Carmen & Cancun, snorkeling at Xel-Ha, and too much shopping everywhere. The weather was great & we enjoyed meeting Christina, Alberto, Kirby, & Clementina. Say hello to them for us (we departed the villa at 7AM & did not have an opportunity to say farewell - except to Kirby who joined us for breakfast). April 2003 Hi Karen! We had such an amazingly fun time staying in your villa--it is soooo nice! It was so clean and roomy, especially the huge bathrooms, the bottled water was great. The pool, the patio, the roof, the fun architecture & spiral staircase were fun! We can't thank you enough for your great place. Christina and Alberto were great to work with. The beach is so private, we absolutely loved it. All of your info, directions, etc, were very helpful. I love Mexico, and will remember your place in the future. It was so great to spend that time with our kids ( who live miles apart) and in such a comfy place. I still miss it, and we've been back two weeks now! March 2003 Where do I start - the attractive tropical grounds, pool, ocean breezes and charming style of your Villa were perfect for our family, and with 3 daughters having 3 bathrooms was a definite plus. You were right about the short walk to the beach being worth it. Playa Secreto has to be one of the best beaches on the Mexican Caribbean, the clear turquoise water, white sandy beach and secluded setting away from the crowds is paradise. We played in the beautiful sparkling surf everyday, jumping and boogie boarding the waves and relaxing under the shade of the papalas when we needed a break from the sun. The proximity to Puerto Morales and Playa del Carmen made it a perfect location for the day trips we took, and your notebook with info on restaurants, shopping and Yucatan attractions helped make our vacation an absolutely fabulous experience. We liked the size of Puerto Morelos, the proximity to Playa del Carmen, and the privacy of Playa del Secreto. My husband's only prior Mexico experience was Spring Break in Mazatlan, so this was quite a different experience for him, and he loved it.
