The resort also fetures dozens of Mayan ruins and a botanical aviary with a large variety of exotic tropical birds including parrots, toucans and flamingos.

Xaman Ha is a short 3 minute walk to the town of Playa del Carmen and the ferry dock which has several 30 min. roundtrip passages to the island of Cozumel daily. Several Dive shops in town offer awesome Scuba diving expeditions out to the famous Palancar reef, the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world.
