The House
Penrose is an elegant pre-1930s detached house standing in its own grounds. The house was recently completely refurbished. Yet, whilst introducing state of the art facilities we have ensured that the rooms have retained the grace, light and spacious dimensions of that bygone era.
The Gardens
Mature trees offer guests privacy for lounging outdoors with a cool drink - in the summer months. Or, for breakfasting on the sunny patio, when the weather permits.

The driveway to the front of the house offers secure parking facilities behind it's double oak palin gates - which are always closed at night.

Close-by you can find all the major High Street names, international designer shops and specialist outlets - to seconds shops, indoor and outdoor market stalls.
Historic Houses, famous gardens and museums. You can visit the only remaining silk museum in the UK and watch practical demonstrations on hand looms in the nearby Victorian silk mill - remnants of Macclesfied's past. You may visit the famous Jodrell Bank radio telescope, working science museum and planetarium. Or investigate the ever expanding restoration of Style mill and parkland.
