Remotely situated at the very southern tip of the Osa Peninsula in Cabo Matapalo, Rancho Almendros is a nature lover's paradise! Enjoy this solar powered retreat, with all the comforts, in a pristine natural setting. Both beach and virgin forest are right at your doorstep. All bedrooms have screened and louvered windows with quiet solar powered fans and lights indoors. There's a full assortment of hammocks and comfortable chairs on three separate verandas, with a barbeque and cooling pool of artesian creek water outside. Both the beach and rainforest are right at your doorstep.
You may choose between the "Main Rancho" ( 2 private doubles) or the more secluded "Honeymoon Cabina" (1 private double upstairs and another downstairs. The Honeymoon Cabina has a large veranda upstairs and a private pool at the bottom of the stairs. Both the Main Rancho and Honeymoon Cabinas have their own private kitchens.
As of January, 2008, satellite wireless internet is available to guests with laptops.
Fresh fruit from our gardens and vegetables from our greenhouses provide a healthy touch.
Property is located in the best area location of Cabo Matapalo with the largest beach out front and farthest location from the public road. |
| Endless beach, rainforest hiking, unique tree climbing tours, hiking to a 60 foot waterfall or through the rainforest, ocean kayaking, fishing, horseback riding, and world class surfing are all available locally. Numerous nature trails come right into the property. There is also world class birdwatching and wildlife viewing right on the property in view of our main veranda. |

| Cancellations made 30 days or more prior of the arrival date will receive back deposit monies minus a 15% service charge plus wire transfer fees if applicable. |

MEALS INCLUDED PLAN: For 2007-8 we now have a sliding scale for different sized groups in this plan (10 max in 5 double rooms)

Children 3-11 years, $40-55 (12 & over considered adult) 3 Night minimum. Maid service included.
2 double-double "Housekeeping cabins*" available with complete kitchens are also available for $125/night for 1-4 guests max. in each cabin. 3rdand 4th guests each pay $25/night per person.
