Our most beautiful and secluded place awaits you. This 25 acre property is the ideal location at the middle of the Hamakua Coast, 13 miles north of Hilo and very close to the sacred Akaka Waterfalls. Our guests report to us that they do not want to leave this place.

The generous view over the large landscaped property with its fruit trees, palms and grass lands gives way to the Pacific Ocean at your horizon. The sensation of peace and wideness makes Wailea the ideal surrounding for a relaxing vacation. Please feel free to explore the property by taking a walk or having a picnic.

The wildness of the original Hawaii is just a 5 minute walk away from your residence. If you are looking for adventure, you can take the pathway down into the gulch at our property. Here a stunning, breathtaking 30 feet waterfall beckons you to take a swim in the large natural pool at its feet. A second pathway brings you to another impressive waterfall waiting for you to experience.

If you prefer the calmness of the swimming pool at your Suite, you are welcome to enjoy it all day long. The sunrise out in the ocean gives you a most beautiful start of the day. While enjoying breakfast, lunch and dinner from your large lanai, the view to the Pacific will give your day a peaceful outlook. You can watch cruise ships passing by or watch the whales from November to April. Or just enjoy being at the beautiful swimming pool.

Deposits:

TERMS & Conditions
Cancellations: We have a 20-day cancellation policy. If you cancel your
reservation prior to 20 days before your arrival, your deposit will be
returned to you less a cancellation fee of 10% of the entire reservation
($50.00 minimum). If you cancel within 20 days of your arrival, your
deposit will be forfeited. Late arrivals, no shows within 4 days of
arrival, or early departures will be charged for the full length of the
reservation. Reservations may be rescheduled without penalty prior to the
20-day period.

This cancellation policy is firm and no exceptions will be made.

Reservations made via Travel Agents, must be cancelled thru the travel
agent, our cancellation policy still applies .

Refundable cleaning fee:
A cleaning fee of $150.00 will be charged upon arrival. It is 100% refundable if the unit is clean at departure.

Smoking: In compliance with Hawaii State Law, all of our rooms are
non-smoking rooms. If you smoke in your room you will be charged a $200.00
fee. We have to report you and you will be subject to State fines. Smoking
is not permitted inside any unit or lanai of any unit.

Balance is due upon arrival.

Other Reservation Notes:
Children under 13 years are accepted exclusively at the Lokowai House.

Guest check in is 3:00pm to 5:00pm, check out is 10:00am. Please call us
if you need to make special arrangements, we can accommodate late
arrivals but we request early notice.

In Hawaii, accommodations are subject to a maximum total tax of 11.41%
consisting of a Transient Accommodation Tax (TAT) of 7.25% plus a General
Excise Tax (GET) of 4.16% applied to retail sales of goods and services.

There is a minimum stay requirement of 3 days. Exceptions can be made upon request and availability.

Liability: Your are fully liable for any damage that occurs to you on the
entire acreage of the wainanivacation properties including roads, pond,
pool, waterfalls and especially inside the gulch.

You agree to hold wainanivacation fully free of liability to any damage that occurs to you.
