Falling in love with Hawaii decades ago has cuased us to visit the island of Hawaii repeatedly. Finally we found a perfect spot and would love to share it with you.
What we didn't like as we toured vacation rentals was that in order to have a full view of the ocean, the tourists would have a full view of us! We've opted instead for the privacy we've found in our heavenly home in Alii Kai.
It's immaculate. The bed is not the hotel bed you've experienc in the past. It's a Serta Posturpedic, and allows you to wake up refreshed. You won't see tropical bamboo furniture meant to be photographed and not sat in. Kick your feet up and relax in your recliner and watch your big 32-inch TV in the living room. There are DVD players included in both the living room and bedroom. There's an overstuff couch and love seat.
What caught our eye as we walked into this unit was since it was a ground floor uint (and that meant we didn't have to carry suitcases upstairs), you could walk out your lanai and then continue on out to what appears to be your own backyard complete with your own palm tree and ocean view!
It's got privacy shrubs that keep the tourists from seeing you. You're protected from the winds, so open the sliding glass door and experience the tropical breeze while enjoying your meals on the lanai.
We installed a Murphy's bed to accomodate two extra guests.
The kitchen is fully stocked, complete with a breadmaker! You're a minute's walk to Kamaole I Beach, which has been voted one of the best beaches in Hawaii, is family friendly, and suitable for snorkeling, scuba diving, and sunning.
The non-smoking complex is kept up extremely well and is very quiet. You're just minutes from the world class championship golf courses and upscale shopping of Wailea, many restaurants, cinemas, and are centrally located for all day trips you might want to take, whether it be a bike ride down Haleakala, Historical Lahaina, the Maui Tropical Plantation, The Maui Ocean Center, The Road to Hana with is Seven Sacred Pools, or any of the other wonderful sites to be seen.
It's a small complex, so you don't feel like you've just arrived at a high rise with acres of parking lots to be trekked across to find your spot.
The pool and decking have recently been refinished and are beautiful. The unit is air-conditioned, newly remodeled and very clean. You'll find all the ameninites of home: a full-size Maytag stacked washer and dryer unit, coffee maker, beach towels, iron/ironing board.
Have a bbq poolside at the gas grills. Enjoy the sauna and hot tub. Most of all, enjoy the quiet spirit of aloha that we found in Kihei Alii Kai. |

| The deposit is non-refundable. If reservations are cancelled between 30 and 45 days, 25% of your total payment will be forfeited. If reservations are canceled between 10 and 29 days, 50% of your total payment will be forefeited, unless we can re-rent the condo for your entire reserved period, in which case you will receive your full payment less the deposit. There will be no refunds for cancellations of less than 10 days or for no-shows. |
Low Season Apr 15-Dec 15..$560/week or $85/night for 4-6 nights
High Season Dec 16-Apr 15..$100/night..10% discount for 28+ days.
Price includes two people. Additional guests add $10/person/night
10 nights or less, add $65 cleaning charge. 4 night minimum.
All rates subject to 11.42% V.A.T.
