Victorian Home Superbly Furnished for Your Summer in Vancouver
This restored, charming and intimate Victorian home is the owners’ winter residence and is ideal if you want to stay away from commercial properties. The residence occupies about 2000 sq ft of the main and second floor of a four storey Victorian house, and is available from May to September. It can accommodate eight guests, but you will be charged only for the bedrooms and beds you use. You will not share the place with anyone else.
Description
The residence retains its original stained glass windows and is furnished with antiques and family heirlooms.
We can accommodate seven guests. Accommodation includes the choice of a queen size bed in the master bedroom; a queen size bed and a single bed available in the second bedroom; a queen size bed and a single bed in the third bedroom.
You will relax in the evening breeze on the deck, ready for a candlelight dinner or for a fun barbeque and will enjoy a lovely view of the city and the mountains from the master bedroom and bathroom.
Custom-made beds, two-hundred-counts 100% cotton linen and custom made mattresses will insure you the best comfort while you sleep.
The professional kitchen features custom made cabinets, professional gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, upright freezer, microwave, all the utensils.
In one of the bathrooms you will soak in bubbles floating in the original bear-claw-foot tub.
A large laundry room, with a large washer and dryer, is located at the bedroom level.
Location
The house is located in the heart of Vancouver City. This location offers all the best. Easy freeway connections will allow you to quickly reach, explore and discover BC.
In a very quiet and tidy homeowner occupied neighbourhood, this residence is two short blocks away from Broadway, a main artery that allows easy connection to UBC University, the beaches and the downtown area on one side and Commercial Avenue, with its famous café and restaurants, on the other side.
The house is two blocks away from Clark, your fastest connection to the airport and to Freeway 99 to Seattle; one block away from 12th Ave, the direct connection to Trans-Canada Highway 1.
Downtown is quickly and easily reachable: drive two short blocks north / left onto Broadway / right on Cambie bridge and you will be in downtown.
To reach Kitsilano: drive one short block south / turn west onto 12th Avenue / turn north onto Arbutus and you’ll be heading to the beaches and the swimming pool.
