TV, stereo sound, and DSL, new state-of-the-art appliances,including
microwave, in-unit washer, beautiful, elegant, and primitive south
America art, and a safe to store your valuables. It is immaculately
kept and has the availability of a maid an/or a babysitter.
The famous Copacabana beach is 1/2 block away from where you
can see Sugar Loaf mountain on one side and the Corcovado (Statue of
Christ on top the highest mountain in Rio) on the other. The apt is
surrounded by excellent restaurants, art galleries, theaters, and
shops, or if you prefer, walk 4 blocks to the famous streets, art &
crafts fairs, restaurants, and beaches of Ipanema or Arpoador.
Sidewalk cafes, fresh juice bars, and all-night entertainment also
enriches this lively neighborhood. There are plenty of cabs, buses,
and subway connections in the vicinity. There's a wonderful fresh
fish market by the old Copacabana fort, right by the beach, 3 blocks
from the apartment.

Master bedroom: Queen-size bed, a charming hammock, an alcove with a
reading area, a comfortable stretch-out chair and reading lamp, and
a beautifully redone, original built-in armoir. Bedside table with
lamps.
2nd bedroom: Pull-out beds which become 2 large size single beds,
armoir, bookshelf, small desk, and a safe. Reading/ambient lighting.
3rd Bedroom: Doubles as an entertainment room as well. Two
beautiful wood and glass doors slide and close at night, if needed,
for sleeping. There's a comfortable queen-size futon, and a built-in
closet.
Living room: Beautiful, new, sage color couch, a 6-person dining
room table with comfy chairs, appealing art, winter garden sitting
area with two very comfortable chairs, and a reading lamp plus
original wooden windows.
Winter Garden/ Reading Alcove: off the living room. Perfect for
reading,or relaxing while listening to music. It has 2 very
comfortable chairs, a foot-rest and a side table.
Kitchen: Modern appliances, fully furnished with abundant cooking
utensils and silverware, microwave and a granite counter. It opens
freely to the dining room.
Bathrooms: floor-to-ceiling tiles, modern appliances, abundant on-
demand hot water.

deposit. Pay in full or 1/2 on reservation and 1/2 on arrival (US
Dollars as well). A security deposit of $300-500 US dollars will be
required for damages beyond normal wear and tear and will be
promptly returned to you in US dollars before you leave the apt.
Represenatives will be available to orient you to the apt. and make
arrangements for a maid, baby sitter, or transportation services if
needed.
