Each room has a private luxury bathroom, with shower and/or full bath-tub, underfloor heating, hair-drier, cable TV, individual climate control, internet connection and dedicated phone and fax line.

The spacious lounge opens up to a large sunny balcony with spectacular panoramic harbour views. There is a library with travel books, a paperback exchange and New Zealand & international magazines and newspapers. A desk with Mac-PC offers free Wireless Internet Access. On cool nights you can cuddle up around the open fire-place with a hot drink or a glass of New Zealand wine.

Breakfast is a sumptuous affair with such choices as fresh organic fruit, yoghurt, Belgian pancakes, French toast, crepes, or gourmet omelettes and is served in the morning room or alfresco on the balcony with breathtaking harbour views. Complimentary fresh coffee, teas and cookies are available throughout the day.

The railway station and inter-city coaches are nearby and the Link-bus to downtown leaves every 10 minutes on the corner of the street. There is no need to rent a car, however there is plenty of secure free car-parking.
Your well-travelled (Belgian born) hosts Bart & Therese provide an exclusive personal service and speak 3 other languages (Flemish / Dutch, French and German). All major credit cards are accepted. (Because Ascot Parnell is so popular, it is recommended to book well in advance)

Dear Bart & Therese,
It is 6:15 am and I am on my way. The hospitality was superb. I feel sorry for the remaining B&B's on my itinerary. They have an impossible standard to meet.

Hello Bart & Therese,
Thank you for your vision and efforts in creating an absolute beautiful and serene environment. Karina and I truly enjoyed our stay at Ascot Parnell. We really didn’t know what to expect, and believe me our expectations were definitely exceeded. Great breakfast’s, Great conversations, Great people and above all a Fantastic “B & B”. Re : Kalifa. Karina and I are now considering owning a greyhound. Given we travel so much, it may not be an favorable option. Is that how you spell “Kalifa”? We will be back...
Warmest regards.
Elliott & Karine Yancey (Darling Harbour, Sydney Australia).

What a wonderful way to start my trip. I am so delighted to have been here. You both are so nice and hospitable that I'd like to stay for a couple of more days. The breakfasts were fabulous ! I loved the "Flemish Toast", however, so many good breakfasts leave little room for lunch ! Glad to have been here.
Thank you for everything. Loved it. Adam Eastwick New York, NY.
