Villa Serena Bed & Breakfast/Vacation rental is an Italian style villa located in coastal San Diego near(5-15 minutes away)from beaches,Sea World,Zoo,Old Town,airport,convention centers and most attractions.
When you enter Villa Serena you are transported to a tropical paradise with swaying palm trees,lush vegetation, a relaxing pool/spa and friendly,knowledgeable hosts who can direct you to local restaurants,sights,and the best kept secrets.we have off-street parking for 2 cars.First come first serve.
The rooms are comfortable and decorated in floral prints.We have a yellow room(Capri),green room(Sorrento) and pink room(Portofino).The beds are queen size with a private bath.Two bedrooms have fireplaces.All rooms have ceiling fans,cable t.v.robes,hair dryers and ironing boards.
Guests have access to the common areas with t.v./Vcr,games,books,toys for children and information on San Diego.
Guests may also use the refrigerator for drinks and snacks and laundry if needed.Breakfast is included in the B&B rate and can be added to the vacation rental rate if requested.As a vacation rental we have all the dishes,BBQ,beach chairs,boogie boards etc.Please tell us if you have allergies or any special requests.
Kae and Alex live onsite in a loft above the garages.We want to be close if you need us and still have your privacy.
We are very happy to share our home with our world family and look forward to meeting you.If you have a chance to bring photos of family/children,pets and home state/country to show it is much appreciated.It's our way of getting to learn about your area. |
| Gosh,I've already mentioned most of them.Just imagine going to a friends house.Theoretically,you only need your credit card and tooth brush,well maybe clothes too.But we should have just about everything else.Please ask if you need something special and we will be able to assist you.Also,go to our website at www.villaserena.org with pictures and more amenities. |
We are located approximately 5 minutes driving time from Sea World,Old Town,Airport,restaurants,theatrers,shopping,Cabrillo Point,convention centers and 10 minutes from Balboa Park,downtown and 20 minutes to Coronado and La Jolla.
Beaches are 5-10 minutes away by car. We have a bus stop in front of the house. We are located approximately 5 minutes from the Old Town metro transit hub.
Average daily temperature is 70 Degrees F.

Because we are located on the coast, it can be a bit breezy in the evenings, so its a good idea to bring a light sweater or jacket.
Comfortable walking shoes are a must as San Diego is hilly in parts. The Zoo has over 200 acres of up and down paths.
Be sure to tell Kae or Alex if you have particular interests or hobbies. We can direct you to local places for them.
If at all possible, please allow 4-5 days to see San Diego. From the beaches to the mountains, desert and areas in between, there is a lot to see here. We have outdoor natural beauty but we also have a ton of interesting attractions. Whatever your desire, theater, art, shopping, dining etc. we have it. You could easily stay here more than a week and still not see it all.

Our cancellation policy is that if you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, we hold one nights rental on the B&B daily rate.
For the vacation rental,(a week or more)if you cancel less than 7 days, we hold one/half(50%) of the total amount owed.There are no cash refunds.A gift certificate will be used instead.Please be as specific as possible when you make the reservation regarding location,noise,allergies,expectations,anything that would affect your enjoyment of Villa Serena or San Diego.We want you to have a great time with us, not a nightmare.It helps me know, if what you want is what we have to offer. |
| Smoking is allowed in the garden,not the house.Parents are responsible for their children around the pool.There is no lifeguard on the premises.The spa closes at 11:00 p.m.so our neighbors can sleep.Please be considerate of other guests sleeping too.We have 3 in-door/out-door cats who are our ambassadors.You may see them or maybe not.You know how cats are? |

We have a daily rate for the Bed & Breakfast of $120.00 per room double occupancy plus the hotel tax of 10.5%
We rent the entire villa as a vacation rental for $2310.00 per week for up to 6 adults.This brings the rate to $110.00 per night per room.And you must add the 10.5% hotel tax. |
