Mickeys Florida Villa / Terms and Conditions ( Please Retain a Copy )
1. BOOKING CONDITIONS : A non-refundable deposit of £100/$150 per week is required to secure your booking:this should be sent with the completed booking form.The balance of your holiday booking will then become payable ten(10) weeks before departure.If payment is not received by this date we reserve the right to cancel your booking with loss of deposit.
2. SECURITY DEPOSIT : A security deposit of £200 / $300 will also be required at the time of the final balance;this will be returned within 6 weeks following your return and subject to confirmation by our Management Company that the villa and its contents are in the same condition as on your arrival.Any damage,breakages,abusive use of the internet or excessive use of utilities and/or leaving the villa in such condition that warrants extra cleaning will be made good from your security deposit.
3. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS : The owners or their agents will not be responsible for loss or delay,how so ever caused beyond our control ie.hurricanes,strikes,riots,fire,flood,local building works,transport problems of any kind (this list is neither exclusive or exhaustive).The owners or their agents cannot be held responsible for damage,loss or personal accident and strongly advise all guests to have full holiday insurance to cover all eventualities.
4. USE OF THE VILLA : Only the persons named on the booking form are allowed to use the villa and the facilities at Glenbrook (this is a requirement of Florida State Law) .
5. SAFETY : Use of the pool/jacuzzi is at your own risk.No diving permitted and guests are specifically requested not to allow unsupervised children to use the pool/jacuzzi areas at any time.Do not enter the villa with wet feet on slippery floors,dry off by pool doors.
6. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE : The rental commence at 4pm on the day of arrival and ceases at 10am on the day of departure.The property will be cleaned before your arrival and again on your departure.Should you require any further cleans during your stay please contact the Management Company who will be happy to assist.
7. CANCELLATIONS : More than 10 weeks – loss of deposit only
10 – 7 weeks …… 50 % of rent repaid if replacement booking received at same rent
6 – 3 weeks …… 25 % of rent repaid if replacement booking received at same rent
2 – 1 weeks …… Zero return
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by the person who made the booking.We strongly recommend insurance cover be taken out for,in particular,holiday cancellation due to unexpected problems such as sickness etc. We will gladly provide proof of payment of a booking,for the purpose of an Insurance Claim,for the balance or total lost.
8. POOL/JACUZZI HEAT : Is a chargeable extra , £85 / $140 a week.Please note-temperatures cannot be guaranteed and are subject to prevailing weather conditions,etc.and during the cooler months the pool and jacuzzi cover MUST be used by guests!If requested after arrival only full week’s payments and not pro-rata days accepted and there will be a $30 call-out charge by M.C to switch on pool heat.Please also be aware that it can take 2/3 days to heat up properly.We will not enter into discussion concerning any complaints regarding pool temperatures.In the event of pool heater break down or other circumstances beyond our control,we (or our representatives) will do our/their best to rectify the problem a.s.a.p.In such an event our liability will be limited to refunding the pool heat payment to the guest for the number of days the heater is out of action only – no other compensation will be paid.
