| Come see our starry skies! In March of 1996, Adobe and Stars opened its doors to guests seeking a Taos, New Mexico bed and breakfast with striking accommodations and a high level of hospitality in a majestic setting. It is ideally situated between historic Taos and the Taos Ski Valley, surrounded by the ancient Sangre de Christo mountains. A vast mesa rolls westward to the horizon. Spacious and contemporary, this luxurious new inn was designed especially with the views in mind. Big windows, decks and patios invite star gazing, sunset viewing and the pleasure of contemplation in the hot tub under the stars. Many traditional Pueblo style features have been included to create warmth and Southwestern ambiance. Such features include: high viga beamed ceilings, kiva fireplaces tucked in the corners of rooms, and outdoor portals to shade the strong sun. |
To best accommodate our guests, we proudly offer special amenities and services including:
* Hot Tub under the twinkling stars.
* Fireplaces in all rooms.
* Jacuzzi tubs in most rooms.
* Telephone in each room with free local calls.
* Fax and copier service.
* Handicapped accessibility.
* Individually controlled radiant heat floors.
* Ceiling fans.
* Reservations for restaurants and local activities.
Days begin with fresh brewed coffee and a full country breakfast. Homemade muffins and biscuits, fresh fruit and juice and a hot entree with Southwestern touches can be enjoyed on the patio in the summertime or by the cheery dining room fireplace during ski season.
You will love the breath taking views from all our windows, just like this one in our common room. This is a wonderful gathering place in the afternoon where we provide an early evening snack and native New Mexico refreshments. You can also pick a book from our library and curl up on the couch near the crackling fire.
Outdoor enthusiasts are sure to appreciate our location at the entrance to world famous Taos Ski Valley. The hiking, biking and horseback riding trails of the National Forest are right down the road. There are nearby streams to fish, the Rio Grande river to raft, and the golf course is but few miles away. Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of one half the entire stay (minimum one night in full).
Balance is due 14 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
Standard Room Rate Bookings:
If notified 15 days prior to arrival date, 90% of deposit is refunded.
Guests who cancel within 14 days (or less) of arrival forfeit the entire cost of their stay (both deposit and balance) unless we are able to fully rebook the room. Partial refund will be made for a partial rebooking. Credit for a future stay will be given at owners discretion.
Specials and Discounted Room Rate Booking:
Specials and discounted rates will be honored only if requested at the time of making reservations.

Check-in is from 4-6 pm. Guests arriving late should let us know upon making reservation. Check-out is 11 am.
Rates: Ask about special mid-week and commercial rates. All rates are double occupancy (plus $30.00 for additional person) and includes breakfast and evening refreshments. State and local taxes will be added to your bill. Two nights minimum over Saturday on holiday weekends. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover accepted.
