At "Arrowhead Lodge" you are greeted by an impressive log home with a large covered front porch accommodating a wonderful hot tub, overlooking the meadow and mountains beyond. You can hear the sound of a rushing stream. Inside, you will approve of the sophisticated furnishings, the large open rooms, the many fireplaces (5), foosball table, hot tub, the gleaming wood floors, the charming log walls and the beamed and vaulted ceilings. In the kitchen you will find a modern replica of an old fashioned wood stove, an island breakfast bar opens to the great room with a large stone fireplace as its focal point, plush new suede sofas (2) and chairs for relaxing and TV. The Dining Porch seats 18. In the parlor, find a large TV (VCR/DVD) and fireplace with plenty of comfortable seating. Access to the Main Suite (king), laundry & half bath create the main level. Upstairs, two large bedrooms (king, queen) provide spacious accommodations with new beds, sitting areas, fireplace and TV in each. The sleeping loft provides a charming setting with foosball table (2 doubles, 1 twin, 1 sleeper sofa). One full bath services the second floor with a full bath in the main suite and half bath off the great room. "Arrowhead Lodge" is perfectly laid out for multi-family gatherings, as well as for couples. The views and mountain ambiance fill the house. These luxury accommodations provide a sense of rustic sophistication that will satisfy discriminating tastes. Comfort is the key here with an eclectic mix of furnishings and antiques and spacious rooms. "Arrowhead Lodge" is the crown jewel in the Cabin Fever Creekside Resort offering a traditional mountain vacation with areas for walking by the bold stream, playing Frisbee or football in the meadow and relaxing by the fish pond on over 4 acres. CANCELLATION POLICY: Your full deposit (Prepaid Rent and Security Deposit) is refundable if you cancel your reservation more than 60 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel less than 60 days prior to arrival, you forfeit the prepaid rent, reservation fee and applicable tax. Please see RESERVATION FEE for further explanation of this non-refundable fee.

REFUNDS: No appliances or amenities are guaranteed. There will be no refunds due to appliance, water, power, or TV failures. We make every effort to keep homes in good working order and any failures will be repaired as quickly as possible during our working hours. There are no refunds for early check-outs. Please notify our office as soon as problems are found.
FORMS OF PAYMENT: Forms of acceptable payment are cash, Traveler’s Cheques, money orders, MasterCard and Visa. Prepaid Rent must be placed on a MasterCard or Visa at the time of making your reservation. The Refundable Security Deposits may not be placed on credit cards. Should you pay your balance by check (including the Refundable Security Deposit), it must be received in our office at least two weeks prior to your arrival. If you pay your balance by credit card, the balance is due one week prior to your arrival.
RETURNED CHECK FEE: There is a $25.00 per check fee for all returned checks. We will either add this to your charges, or charge your security deposit if your check is returned after your departure. See "Security Deposit" for additional information.
RESERVATION FEE: There is a $28.00 non-refundable fee per reservation.
PETS: Most units do not allow pets. For the units that do, an extra $50 per pet non-refundable fee is charged. Pet owners and lessees are financially responsible for damages caused by their pet. If a pet is taken into a home advertised as “No Pets” without prior arrangements being made with Carolina Vacations, occupants will be evicted with no refunds.
SERVICE ANIMALS: Mobility, visually or hearing impaired persons have the right to be accompanied by an assistance animal trained to provide assistance with respect to the person's impairing condition, on any premises that person rents. A person qualifies for this right by showing a tag issued by the North Carolina (or other state) Department of Human Resources, or upon showing documentation that the animal is trained as an assistance animal. If the service animal damages the house, an appropriate amount will be deducted from the security deposit.
SPA FEE: For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, your hot tub is drained and cleaned between 6am and 11am on the morning of your departure. For arriving guests, this may mean a delay in using the hot tub on the first evening of your stay. We apologize for the inconvenience, but have put your health and safety first.
PRE-PAID RENT: The Prepaid Rent Deposit will be credited towards your rent total, with the balance due prior to your arrival date (see Forms of Payment). Your Prepaid Rent is refundable if your reservation is cancelled at least 60 days prior to your arrival. This is not to be confused with your security deposit.
REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT: All reservations require a Security Deposit, which will be refunded within 45 days of check-out, after the condition of the unit and its contents have been verified. You are required to mail a check or money order for the Security Deposit so we receive it 2 weeks prior to arrival. The Security Deposit may be used to repair damages, replace missing items, or to reimburse owner or agent for expenses resulting from agreement violations, such as phone calls, Internet charges, movie charges, check fees, or unacceptable condition of unit on departure. RESERVATION CENTER HOURS: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM – Monday - Friday and 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM - Saturday
CHECK-IN TIME: Check-in is after 2:00 PM (when unit is clean). See "Late Arrivals" for additional instructions.
CHECK-OUT TIME: Check-out is before 11 AM. NO EXCEPTIONS. Housekeeping must have adequate time to prepare the units for the next guests. Keys must be returned to our office to insure a full refund of your damage deposit. Guests not checked-out on time will be charged one-day's rent plus NC taxes. If the unit is available, you may call to extend your stay. Sorry, no refund on early check-outs.
PEAK SEASON CHECK-INS: (June, July, August, October and holidays) Guests should expect delayed check-in times. Map & keys will not be given out until the unit has been cleaned. Do not make plans to go directly to your unit with groceries, etc. We will provide you with the lockbox code (See "Late Arrivals") so you can enjoy the area.
LATE ARRIVALS: We will be happy to provide rental packets with maps and keys for any guests planning to arrive after office hours, providing that the rental balance and tax has been paid in full and you have submitted a signed lease agreement to us prior to the arrival date. The packet(s) will be located in the lock box beside the front door of our office. Call 3 days prior to check-in for the code to the lock box, and verify the number of vehicles arriving separately. It is your responsibility to provide your other guests arriving separately with the code and check-in procedures.
MAPS & KEYS: If your vacation includes meeting others who will arrive separately, please ask us to prepare extra map & key packets for them. Maps are not faxed in advance under any circumstances. It is your responsibility to provide your guests with directions to Realty World and the check-in procedures. NC VACATION RENTAL ACT: The rights and obligations of the parties to the agreement are defined by law and include unique provisions permitting the disbursement of rent prior to tenancy and expedited eviction of Tenants. Your signature on the Rental Agreement, or payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement, is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.
