Also at the marina are daily all day or half day fishing excursions as well as a high speed ferry to Key West. In addition, there are nightly offshore gambling/dining cruises on the big "M". Located nearby off island are more than twenty golf course, shopping outlet centers, miniature golf, and the Edison museum. For a day of adventure you can visit the next island (Sanibel) with fantastic shelling, and the Ding Darling nature preserve for close glimpses of alligators and all the natural wildlife of the area.
