Start your day with a cup of coffee and muffin on your private balcony wearing only the robes we provide (if you wish). Then wend your way downstairs for a breakfast which always consists of juice and fruit. Then savor something different every day of your stay. It might be crepes, French scrambled eggs, quiche, panakuchen or sausage casserole.
After breakfast, take a snooze in the hammock watching the clouds drift by, and then at the end of the day enjoy dinner by candlelight holding hands across the table with your special someone. After dessert, wind your way sleepily upstairs to relax in your private whirlpool bubble bath while romantic music plays and candles flicker. An in-room massage is the perfect ending to a perfect day in the mountains.
All rooms have king or queen beds, whirlpools, ceiling fans, individual heat and air conditioning, snack bowl, robes, hair dryers, and wonderful reading materials.
Throughout your stay, enjoy the famous Iron Mountain Inn cookies from the bottomless cookie jar (please! so I don't eat them!),
You'll never know how much you can hear, see and enjoy until you spend time with your loved one here on the mountaintop.
For a more active stay, hike the Appalachian Trail (we can provide a picnic lunch), rent a bike or bring your own to ride the 34 mile Virginia Creeper Rails to Trails trail, horseback riding next door, kayaking, fly fishing and other water sports on Watauga Lake, golfing on one of the 10 best courses in Tennessee, view the area by helicopter, find the perefect gift in a craft shop, antique store or country auction.
Enjoy an all-you-can-eat barbeque and dancing on Friday and Saturday night at The Barn, take in a show at the Barter Theatre, the state theater of Virginia, enjoy outdoor dramas in summer, musicals at the Paramount, bluegrass and country music, fairs and festivals and oh so much more.

The Creekside Chalet usually rents by the week: $1300.00 plus tax for up to 6 people. However, if you can only get away for two or three nights, give us a call and if we have an opening we would be delighted to have you as a guest. Pets and children are welcome in the Chalet.
The Iron Mountain Inn B&B offers luxurious romantic hideaways with our famous "pampering perfected" service. Whirlpools in each room, steam shower in two, a Franklin stove with remote control in the Equestrian Room, and private balconies where you may listen to birdsong and watch the butterflies while enjoying an early morning cup of coffee and muffins wearing the robes we provide.
Rates per room for two people with 3 course breakfast range from $155.00 for the Appalachian Spring Room to $185.00 for the Family Memories Room. Rates are lower in mid-winter, mid-week and for multiple nights. Rates a little higher during NASCAR weekends, holidays and October. |
