Go back to a time when life was simpler. The Bears Den, a Luxury Blue Ridge Cabin Rental, in the North Georgia Mountains, is the place. This year old luxury cabin, beautifully decorated in rustic cabin décor, yet modern in amenities, offers all you could wish for. From the moment you wake up, the breathtaking mountains are in full view year round from all 3 levels of the cabin.
The Bears Den Luxury Vacation Cabin is a custom 3 bedroom, 3 bath luxury cabin (1 King, 2 Queen) with all the comforts of home & comfortably sleeps 6 adults. The Game Room is furnished with 2 full size futons and can accommodate sleeping for 2 additional guests. Each level has its own bedroom & bath for the comfort & privacy of all.
The upper level consists of an oversized master bedroom suite complete with king size log bed, cedar dressers, flat screen TV (satellite & DVD player), full bath and a large walk in closet. Imagine the first thing you see as you sit up in bed is the dramatic sunrise overlooking the long range mountain views.
On the main level you will find the 2nd bedroom with Queen Log Bed, full bath with double vanity, washer/dryer, a large open family room with plasma TV (Satellite and DVD player), rich leather sofas, and a gas stone fireplace. The dining area consists of a custom made log table & amazingly comfortable “bear” chairs which seats 6 with additional seating for 2 at eating bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with custom cabinets and stainless steel appliances.
For more entertaining, go down to the walk out lower level, complete with bedroom, full bath and Huge Game Room. The game room consists of a custom made Cedar Top Wet Bar, 2 full size futons, poker table, full size regulation pool table, plasma TV (with separate receiver and DVD player) black iron gas stove and Amazing Year Round North Georgia Mountain Views.
Whether you’re cherishing the clean crisp Georgia Mountain air (and of course the heavenly mountain views) from the covered 3 sided wrap around deck or firing up the gas grill for that afternoon BBQ, you will be sure to find total peace and solitude.
And after a long day of hiking, biking, white water rafting, fishing, or just shopping, what better way to relax then the screened in porch. Imagine the warmth and smell from the wood burning fireplace while soaking your cares away in the soothing 6 person hot tub with lounger where you can view spectacular sunsets & bright stars at night.

Benton MacKaye Trail - This long trail covers the western Appalachians, is a 50 mile trail and runs from Springer Mountain to the Cohutta Wilderness.
Benton MacKaye, Sec. II - This trail is a remote hike into the Chattahoochee National Forest
Falls Branch Falls - This trail follows a section of the Benton MacKaye Trail to a side trail which leads to Falls Branch Falls.
Long Creek Falls - This trail follows the Appalachian Trail to the blue blazed Long Creek Falls side trail.
Ocoee Adventure Center Here you will find guided mountain bike tours and bike rentals.

The town of Blue Ridge is located approximately 6 miles from the Bear's Den Luxury Cabin. There you will find a number of speciality shops, antique and crafts shops, ice cream parlors, and eateries all along Main Street. The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway is also located here where you can take a scenic ride along the Toccoa River and the beautiful mountains.
Blue Ridge also offers a variety of restaurants, live productions at the Blue Ridge Community Theater, a movie theater, and bowling.
For an old fashion date night out, the Swan Drive-In, one of the last remaining drive-in theaters in Georgia, plays all the latest movies!
Mercier Orchards, is one of the largest apple orchards in the Southeast. Located only 3.5 miles from The Bear's Den, Mercier's offers everything from your morning cup of coffee and danish, to great steaks and fish from the butcher area that you can take back to the cabin and grill out.

*SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT: A $250.00 security deposit is required at time of booking to hold your reservation. We cannot guarantee or block the dates on the availability calender until your security deposit is received.
Your deposit will be refunded within 7 days of your departure provided there are no damages to the property and no policy violations.
