If you're seeking the 'real" Hawaii, then look no further. Located on a peaceful 8 acre estate in the historic Ka'u District, we're a working Macadamia Nut farm. Guests may avail themselves of a complimetary educational orchard tour with your hostess, and learn the fime points of mac farming in Hawaii. Nearby are two unique beaches. South Point [southern most point in the U.S.] and the only Green Sand Beach on the island are just down the road. A ten minute drive takes you to Punalu'u, a Black Sand Beach where you may snorkel with hawksbill sea turtles.
Our ideal location, situated 1/2 way between the towns of Hilo and Kona, affords our guests the opportunity to explore the island. We're just 45 min. form Volcano National Park, and the same time from the Place of Refuge.
Our rooms are spacious with private entrances and baths, cable TVs, and rooms with fridges and microwaves are available. Rates are just $75 to $125 a night plus tax, and include a sumptuous breakfast. We have a spacious two bedroom suite available for families, and discounts are given for extended stays.
