Amelia's Place is a three story, warehouse-style loft made welcoming in downtown Dallas. A feminist from Louisiana (the best cook in three parishes!), Amelia extends true Southern hospitality at the best Bed and Breakfast in Dallas, Texas.
"Her breakfasts are so good and so big you can skip lunch."
Play her piano, enjoy good talk, play Scrabble, read, relax. A block from City Hall and the Library, two blocks from the Convention Center and the original Neiman-Marcus, the Dart TrolleyBus stops at Amelia's corner every 10 minutes.
Tell your friends, invite a friend, or just come and have a good time. "Come play Hookey or Rendevous (discretion assured, of course) at Amelia's Place."
The rooms are named for and decorated in the personal styles of six women of all colors
(black, brown, and pink-Amelia is pink) who have made profound contributions to Dallas at Amelia's Bed and Breakfast in Dallas, Texas.
Amelia welcomes people of any color, unmarried couples, same-sex couples, and smokers (but not in the bedrooms). Amelia's Place is not suitable for pets, children, snobs, bigots, nor fanatics, so leave your prejudices at home. She especially enjoys people of intelligence, integrity, and compassion.

First Floor:
The Adelfa Room has a double-bed. It costs $95.00 a night for one or two people.
The Mamie Room has twin-sized beds (for guests not wishing to share a bed) which can be converted to a king-sized bed.
It costs $105.00 a night.
Each of these rooms has its own separate lavatory; guests share a toilet and shower.
Second Floor:
All four of these rooms have private bathrooms and cost $115.00 a night.
The Anita Room has a king-sized bed.
The Njoki Room has two Queen-sized beds; add $30.00 if you use both beds.
The Vivian Room has a queen-sized bed.
The Kay Room has one twin-sized bed.
